The petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent/Police to register a case on her complaint, dated 23.01.2015. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, representing the respondent/Police.

The petitioner alleged that her son by name Rajan is harassing her. The petitioner is a septuagenarian and she has given to the Chief Minister's Grievance Cell and other higher-ups of Police Department, but, not to the concerned Station House Officer. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is closed with direction to the petitioner to approach concerned Station House Officer and lodge her written complaint, and in the event of such complaint is https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

being lodged by the petitioner, the Station House Officer is directed to enquire into the matter and take further action in accordance with law by registering a crime, if cognizable offence is made out, by following the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others reported in [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
