O R D E R

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents made a submission that land acquisition initiated under the Act had been concluded and award was passed and the amount was also deposited before the Sub Court, Namakkal on 07.04.2006. However, the challenge in the present writ petition is the notification issued in Form II Under Section 4(1) of the Tamil Nadu Acquisition of Land for Harijan Welfare Schemes Act, 1978.

2.In view of the fact that the award was already passed, the amount was also deposited and thus, the relief as such sought for cannot be granted.

3.Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
