ORDER

The petitioner, as complainant, lodged a complaint under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act against the fourth respondent, and the trial is proceeding before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tirupattur. The fourth respondent had been evading service, and a Non-Bailable Warrant was issued. For execution of the said warrant, the petitioner has filed this petition.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) has today produced a copy of the daily status report in STC.No.969 of 2024, which shows that the accused, Shenbagavalli appeared before the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Tirupathur on 08.06.2026, executed sureties, received copies, and accordingly, the Non-Bailable Warrant was recalled. The case now stands posted for questioning on 23.06.2026.

3. This court appreciates the efforts taken by the third respondent to securing the appearance of the fourth respondent before the trial court. Considering the fact that the case under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act has been pending since 2024, the trial court is directed to accord priority to this matter and complete the trial within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
