No.855/1 in Survey Ward.7, Mayiladuthurai Town as garbage disposal yard and further direct him not to extend the existing garbage disposal yard to the other town survey numbers, namely T.S. Nos.226, 227, 228, 229, 230, 231, 233 in Survey Ward.7 in Mayiladuthurai Town.

(Made by The Hon'ble The Chief Justice) Learned Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent/Commissioner of Municipality concerned has referred to the report filed to state that sanction has been received of Rs.8.76 crores. On our query, learned Government Pleader submits on behalf https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of the State Government that the amount would be released within a maximum period of two months from today.

2. Learned counsel appearing for the second respondent/Pollution Control Board states that the first respondent has to also obtain a number of permissions. The first respondent is directed to take necessary steps in this behalf to ensure that all formalities are completed within a period of two months, so that on the funds being released, the project can immediately commence.

3. The writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the aforesaid directions.
