Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to regularise the service of the petitioners with effect from the date of their initial appointment with all monetary and service benefits as the petitioners were appointed in the vacant post as full time employees.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to regularise the service of the petitioners with effect from the date of their initial appointment with all monetary and service benefits as the petitioners were appointed in the vacant post as full time employees.
3. The case of the petitioners is that they were appointed as Sweeper cum Scavenger on consolidated pay in the vacant post in Elathur Government Adi Dravidar Welfare High School in Arakkonam Taluk. By a letter dated 11.02.2015, the Head Master of Government Adi Dravida Welfare Girls High School has recommended regularisation of the services of the petitioners. But, till date, the services of the petitioners have not been regularised.
4. Heard Mr.R.Singaravelan learned counsel for the petitioners and Ms.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
5. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have submitted their representations to the first respondent on 30.10.2015 which is not considered. Hence,the present Writ petition has been filed praying for the aforesaid relief.
6.Though the petitioners prayed for a larger relief, this Court taking into consideration the facts and circumstances, directs the second respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioners dated 30.10.2015 in accordance with law, and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioners.
