ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for relaxation of the condition imposed by the Court below while granting Anticipatory bail to the petitioners. 2.

The respondent police registered an FIR in Crime No.274 of 2019 for an offence under Section 294(b), 323, 506(i) IPC & Section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Women Harassment Ac. The petitioners have been added as A2 and A3. The Petitioners apprehending arrest filed an Anticipatory Bail petition and the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Coimbatore, granted anticipatory bail by imposing certain conditions. One of the condition imposed by the Court below is that the petitioners should report daily before the respondent police at 5.00 p.m for a period of 30 days. This condition has been put to challenge in this Criminal Original Petition.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioners are the in-laws of the defacto complainant and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

they have complied with the condition for nearly 15 days. The learned counsel further submitted that the petitioners hail from Chennai and it is not possible for them to stay at Coimbatore in order to comply with the condition.

Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondent.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the condition imposed by the Court below is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall appear before the respondent police as and when required. The other conditions imposed by the Court below shall stand as it is. 6.

This Criminal Original petition is disposed of accordingly.
