ORDER

The petitioners, who are accused in Crime No.898/2017 for the offences under Sections 294(b), 323 IPC r/w. Section 3(1)(r) and 3(1)(s), 3(2)(Va) of SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) New Amendment Act 2015 Act, seek a direction to the Principal Sessions Judge, Namakkal, to consider and dispose of their bail application that will be filed by them under Section 439 of Cr.P.C. on the same day.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

3. Considering the nature of the prayer sought for and taking note of the fact that the petitioners are prepared to surrender before the Principal Sessions Judge, Namakkal, there shall be a direction to the the Principal Sessions Judge, Namakkal, to consider the bail application to be submitted by the petitioners along with their

surrender before that Court, on the same day on merits and pass appropriate orders. The petitioners are directed to give advance notice to the Additional Public Prosecutor before the said court. The criminal original petition is ordered accordingly.
