This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 16.01.2020.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner's husband viz., K.Velusamy was worked at Ration Shop In Villipalayam and later, he worked as Fertilizer Salesman in Pillur Preliminary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society and then worked as Writer in the above society. Thus, he worked for about 36 years without any unblemished service. During the course of employment, the petitioner's husband was falsely alleged that he misappropriated the funds and due to the above false allegations, the petitioner's husband committed suicide. Therefore, the petitioner made representation dated 16.01.2020 before the first respondent to take steps to Page No.2 of 6
disburse the death benefits, PF, Group Insurance etc., and also request him to give compassionate appointment to his son, however, since the representation being made, the respondent has not taken any action. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.
3. Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.01.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that he has no objection for the said order being passed by this Court.
5. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
6. Taking into consideration the factual aspects of the matter, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the first respondent to Page No.3 of 6
consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.01.2020 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. This writ petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid observation and direction. No costs.
