This petition is filed to condone the delay of 127 days in preferring the above C.M.A as against the final award dated 03.10.2023 passed in E.C.No.44 of 2017, by the learned Commissioner for Employees Compensation (Joint Commissioner of Labour-II), at Chennai. 2.Though notice has been served, none appeared on behalf of the second respondent.
3.Ms.M.Malar, the learned counsel entered appearance for the first respondent.
4.Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed. 5.The Registry is directed to print the name of the learned counsel for the first respondent in the cause list when the matter is listed for admission, and number the above C.M.A.SR.No.72530 of 2023, if the papers are otherwise in order.

Anu 6.It is underscored that in the eventuality of the appellant succeeding in the appeal to be taken on record, he would not be entitled to any interest for 127 days.
