W.P.No.3221 of 2007 filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representation made by the petitioner herein dated 05.12.2006 with regard to furnishing of third party's statements as requested for TNGST No.2200007/99-2000.

2.The petitioner seeks for a direction upon the respondent to consider their representation dated 05.12.2006 and furnish the third party statements as requested by them. 3.Though a counter affidavit has been filed by the respondent, the same deals with the merits of the claim and it is not clear from the materials as to whether the request of the petitioner for furnishing the third party statements has been complied with.

4.Be that as it may, by efflux of time, no useful purpose would be served in keeping these writ petitions pending, since there was no interim order in these writ petitions. Furthermore, the counsels on record are unable to report as to what is the present state of affairs.

5.Thus, for the above reasons, the writ petitions are disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to file a fresh representation if still a need arises to do so. No costs.
