J U D G M E N T

On a perusal of the records, it seems that this Criminal Revision Petition has been preferred by the Revision petitioner, against the order passed by the Trial Court, in CMP.No.1155/14, dated 02.04.2014, which was filed under Sections 451 and 457 of Cr.P.C seeking interim custody of the vehicle involved in the offences related to transportation of red sanders wood and during the arrest of accused the vehicle was seized by the Police.

According to the petitioner, the respondent has no authority to seek interim custody as confiscation proceedings are already initiated, but the learned Judicial Magistrate released the vehicle by imposing conditions against which the present revision is filed.

At the time of arguments, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the vehicle was confiscated and sold in public auction. Hence, the claim sought for in this Criminal Revision Petition has become infructuous. 4.

Accordingly, this Criminal Revision Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No Costs.
