ORDER
This revision petition is taken out by the defendants 1, 2 and 4 who are the owners of the suit property. The first respondent/plaintiff is the tenant and the suit is filed for injunction not to evict the plaintiff unless by due process of law. It is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners that though the suit is ripe for trial from March 2015, till today, the trial has not been completed. In the meanwhile, the third defendant died and no steps were taken by the plaintiff. It is stated that the suit was also dismissed as abated as against the deceased third
defendant. The request of the petitioners is to give direction to the learned District Munsif to dispose of the suit within a time frame. From the papers furnished, it is seen that the cross-examination of the defendants is in progress and the suit was posted on 15.11.2016. Hence, a direction is issued to the learned District Munsif, Gudalur, The Nilgiris, to complete the trial without any further delay and the suit shall be disposed of on or before 31.01.2017 and a report be submitted to this Court. The Civil Revision Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
