O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking permission to appear for the VII Semester Examination in B.Tech Petroleum Engineering Course (2012-2016) by issuing Hall Ticket.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned counsel for the first respondent.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that petitioner has secured only 61% of attendance. He further submitted that as per the regulations, minimum attendance is 75% and if even assuming that the petitioner is given 10% relaxation on medical ground, still he would be found wanting of attendance. The learned counsel draw the attention of this Court to the order passed in W.P.36439 of 2015 dated 06.11.2015.

4. Unfortunately, this Court is not in a position to help the petitioner as he secured only 61% of attendance. Even the jurisdiction of this Court is discretionary over such matter. In a similar case, this Court had passed a detailed order in W.P.36439 of 2015 on 06.11.2015 dismissing the writ petition. Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed. No costs.
