This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in S.T.C.No.1425 of 2021 pending on the file of the Hon'ble Chief Judicial Magistrate, Puducherry.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the 1st respondent submitted that the trial has already commenced and six witnesses have been examined including the Defacto complainant.
3. In view of the above development, this quash petition cannot be considered at this length of time. It is left open to the petitioner to raise all the grounds before the Court below and the same will be considered on its own merits and in accordance with law. The proceedings in S.T.C.No.1425 of 2021 shall be completed by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Puducherry within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
