ORDER
Since no adverse Order has been passed against the respondent 6 to 9, notice to them is dispensed with. With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. This Writ Petition is filed to direct the fourth respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 27.01.2024.
3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 and perused the materials available on record.
4. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property is the ancestral property of the petitioner and he inherited and is in enjoyment of the property. While so, the sixth respondent by giving wrong information had obtained joint patta in his favour. Therefore, the petitioner has given a representation to the 2/5
respondent authorities for cancellation of patta in the name of the fifth respondent and to delete his name. The fifth respondent without considering the documents submitted by the petitioner rejected the representation of the petitioner. As against which the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the fourth respondent and the same is pending without any progress. Hence, the present Writ Petition.
5. Considering the limited relief sought for by the petitioner, the fourth respondent shall dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 27.01.2024, after giving opportunity to the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
