The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking to quash the impugned Letter of the second respondent in No.CMWSSB/Area.V/DAE-13/Depot/Spl/2014-15, dated 29.01.2015.
2. Admittedly in this case, notices has been served on a dead person. Hence, the impugned order is liable to be set aside on this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
ground. Accordingly, the impugned order is set aside. This Court makes it very clear that the legal heirs of the petitioner shall furnish the full particulars, including their residential address, EMail ID and Cell Phone Number, etc. to enable the authorities to communicate to the legal-heirs about the due amount of metro water and sewerage taxes and Sewerage charges.
3. In case the legal-heirs of the deceased person fail to give the details, as directed above, it is open to the authorities to proceed in accordance with law. It is the duty of the petitioner, who has sworn the affidavit in this writ petition, to communicate all the particulars to the respondent Board within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
