O R D E R
This criminal revision is filed against the order of acquittal passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.XVIII, Saidapet, Chennai, in C.C.No.1208 of 2001 dated 13.8.2010.
2. As per amendment made to Section 372(2) of Code of Criminal Procedure, only an appeal will lie as against an order of acquittal. Therefore, this criminal revision is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to approach the District Court and file an appeal. The period during which the case was pending before this Court shall be taken note of by the District Court will entertaining the criminal appeal.
