(3) R.N.Nivethitha sri and (4) R.N.Dhilip Kumar that they belong to "Kurichchan (ST) community" based upon the community certificate already issued to the petitioner's family members. For Petitioner ::

ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) The petitioner is before this Court seeking for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to issue community certificate to the petitioner and her daughters and son viz.,

(1) N.Sangeetha, (2) N.Srisudhadevi, (3) R.N.Nivethitha sri and

(4) R.N.Dhilip Kumar that they belong to "Kurichchan (ST) community" based upon the community certificate already issued to the petitioner's family members.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.A.Srijayanthi, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice on behalf of the respondent.

As per the representation of the petitioner addressed to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dharmapuri, it is seen that she has made an application on 4.2.2014 for issuance of community certificate to herself and her three daughters and one son to the effect that they belong to "Kurichchan Scheduled Tribe https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Community" based upon the community certificates already issued to her family members. Even though the said application was forwarded by the Revenue Divisional Officer to the Tahsildar, Pennagaram by a letter dated 21.7.2014 to conduct enquiry and to submit the report, no action was taken. Subsequently, the petitioner has made another representation on 29.1.2015. Even thereafter, no action is being taken. Hence this writ petition.

In this regard, considering the prayer of the petitioner to issue the community certificates to herself and her three daughters and one son stating that they belong to "Kurichchan Scheduled Tribe Community", we direct the Revenue Divisional Officer, Dharmapuri to do the needful in accordance with law within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
