This petition has been filed to direct the respondents to expedite the further proceedings of the F.I.R.No.373 of 2016 pending on the file of the 3rd respondent and to investigate and report within reasonable time and consequently direct the respondent to take action against Mr.Arulraj in accordance with law.

2. According to the petitioner, the 3rd respondent received the complaint from the petitioner on 26.10.2004 and registered case in Crime No.742 of 2014, sofar no action has been taken by the respondent police. Hence, the petitioner filed the present petition seeking a direction to the respondents police to investigate the case and file the final report.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State and perused the materials available on record.

4. Since the 3rd respondent police received the complaint on 26.10.2014, so far no action has been taken by the respondent police, the 3rd respondent police is directed to investigate the case and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
