Respondents Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus or order or direction in the nature of a writ directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner's husband P.Krishnamoorthy @ Moorthy, son of Paramanandam now detained at Special Refugee Camp for Srilankan Tamils, Kottappattu, Tiruchirappalli, dated 03.04.2019 for revoking the order of detention passed in G.O.No.SR.III/2228-2/2018 dated 05.02.2019 on the file of the 1st respondent and permit him to reside along with the petitioner and his family members.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner's husband P.Krishnamoorthy @ Moorthy, son of Paramanandam now detained at Special Refugee Camp for Srilankan Tamils, Kottappattu, Tiruchirappalli, dated 03.04.2019 for revoking the order of detention passed in G.O.No.SR.III/2228-2/2018 dated 05.02.2019 on the file of the 1st respondent and permit him to reside along with the petitioner and his family members. 2.

The learned Additional Advocate General, on instructions, submitted that the first respondent has already considered the representation made by the petitioner dated 03.04.2019 and passed an order on 19.06.2019, rejecting the representation.

3. In view of the above development, no further orders can be passed in this writ petition and this writ petition is disposed of by giving liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy by challenging the rejection order in accordance with law. No costs.
