ORDER

The petitioner is aggrieved against the information revealed in the web portal of the first respondent, whereby, the third and fourth respondents have been shown as beneficiaries for check-off facility extended by the first respondent-bank.

2. According to the petitioner, the check-off system can be allowed only to Trade Unions registered under the Trade Unions Act, like the petitioner herein and therefore, the third and fourth respondents cannot claim such a benefit. In this connection, the petitioner had also made representations to the respondents on 21.01.2020 and 10.08.2020.

3. When such representations have not been considered by the concerned banks, this Court would not be justified in stepping into the shoes of the banks and render a factual finding. On the other hand, if those banks are directed to consider the petitioner's representations, which has already been addressed to them through the aforesaid representations, the ends of justice could be secured.

4. In the light of the above observations, there shall be a direction second respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representations dated 21.01.2020 and 10.08.2020, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
