ORDER

This writ petition is heard through Videoconferencing, on account of the COVID-19 pandemic situation.

2. The Writ petition is filed challenging the order of rejection passed by the second respondent dated 21.11.2013 in Ref.No.TN/CHN/ADR/014.

3. An advertisement was issued on 21.09.2013, calling for the applications for award of LPG Distributorship at Adyar, Chennai under Scheduled Caste Category. The petitioner seems to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

be one of the applicants, who had applied for the same. However, he had not attached either the title deeds for ownership or lease deed documents for the advertised location and he had also not furnished minimum liquid funds of Rs.5 lakhs/-. Hence, his application was rejected, against which, the writ petition is filed.

4. Notice alone was issued at the time of admission and no interim order was granted in this writ petition.

5. Mr.K.Ethiraj, the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent now represents that even as early as on 23.12.2014, the distributorship was awarded to one Ravi Bharath Gas Agency and it was commissioned and the business had commenced long back.

6. Hence, nothing further survives for adjudication in the writ petition and the same is dismissed. No Costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
