..Respondent Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to issue transfer of patta in the name of the petitioners for their property to an extent of 3960 sq.ft.in S.No.334/1N, in Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District, on the basis of the Sub Division proposal in Na.Ka.No.3055/05/E1, dated 16.04.2007 and Judgment of this Court dated 25.07.2014 in W.P.Nos.11323 to 11328 of 2012. ORDER

By consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Placing reliance upon the Judgment and Decree rendered in O.S.No.529 of 2009, the petitioners sought for issuance of patta in S.No.334/1N to an extent of 3960 sq. ft., situated at Palladam Taluk, Tiruppur District. It is also the case of the petitioners that similarly placed persons have got their patta, in pursuant to the order passed by this Court. The petitioners' representation was referred by the District Collector to the respondent. As no further action is forthcoming, the petitioner has come forward to file the present writ petition.

3. Issuance of patta is the job of the respondent. Therefore, taking into consideration the pending request made by the petitioners with the respondent, a direction is issued to the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioners, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioners and third parties, if any.

4. With the above direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
