O R D E R

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the 3rd respondent to issue patta in respect of 6300 sq.ft. of land in S.No.23/1(new No.23) Athanacheri Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, within the time stipulated by this Court.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and perused the materials placed on record.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that despite the report of the 3rd respondent to the 2nd respondent and the recommendation of the 1st respondent to the Additional Chief Secretary-cum-Commissioner of Land Administration, for issuance of patta to the petitioner, the same has not been issued. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed with the above prayer.

5. Learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that orders will be passed by the 1st respondent on merits.

6. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 1st respondent to pass orders on merits, taking note of the report of the 1st respondent himself, which is dated 08.03.2016 and also the report of the 3rd respondent dated 18.06.2014, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 25.06.2024 gya Index : Yes/No 3/5
