J U D G M E N T

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal has been filed by the Insurance Company to modify the award dated 11.08.2021 made in E.C.No.80 of 2019 on the file of the Joint Commissioner of Labour -1, Chennai.

2. Parties have arrived at a settlement in and by which, the second respondent-Insurance Company has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.9,00,000/- as compensation to the appellants, which the appellants have agreed to. To that effect, a Compromise Memo dated 10.01.2022 has been filed, signed by both the parties and their respective counsels.

3. The Compromise Memo dated 10.01.2022 is taken on file https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is disposed of in terms thereof. There will be a decree in terms of the above said joint memo of compromise. The compromise memo dated 10.01.2022 shall form part of the decree. No costs.
