O R D E R

The instant writ petition has been filed seeking the relief of writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to pay the back wages along with arrears by revising the pay fixation with all promotional service benefits from the year January 2016 to till date on which the petitioner is entitled for the post of Planning Assistant Grade-II by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.01.2025.

2. Heard Mr.C.Kasirajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Thamarai Selvan, learned Standing Counsel for CMDA appearing for the respondent.

3. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner served in the respondent Corporation for nearly 37 years as a Planning Assistant, Grade-II. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that after invention of this Court in WP.No.7507 of 2023, they were promoted, however, the pay was not re-fixed according to his promotion. The learned counsel for the petitioner would further submit that in this connection, the petitioner has sent representation on 20.01.2025 to the respondent and such representation is yet to be considered.

4. Though there is disputed facts between the parties, taking into 2/4

consideration of the fact that the representation made by the petitioner is yet to be considered, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, deems it appropriate to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 20.01.2025 on it's own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. In the result, this Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions.
