Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records pertaining to the file relating to the impugned order vide G.O.(D) No.181, Co-operation, Food & Consumer Protection (CD-1) Department dated 02.10.2012 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same insofar as para 5 - 4th line commencing from "decided to promote T.M.Gajendran who was demoted as Co-operative Sub-Registrar as Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Registrars and para - 6 "As the petitioner Thiru.T.M.Gajendran was unauthorisedly absent for duty without any reason for more than two years, he is not entitled for back wages on promotion on the basis of no work no pay.

His promotion is subject to the concurrence by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission and this order should not be quoted as precedent in future" and consequently, direct the respondent to pay the salary in the cadre of Deputy Registrar from 28.05.2010 to 04.10.2012 since he was already promoted vide G.O.(D) No.208, Co-operation, Food & Consumer Protection (CD-1) Department dated 11.12.2008.

O R D E R

When the matter came up on 07.06.2022, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and therefore, Registry was directed to post the Writ Petition on 09.06.2022 under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today also, there is no appearance on behalf of the petitioner. Hence, this Court is constrained to dismiss the Writ Petition for non-prosecution. No costs.
