Respondent Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.10.2015 and consequently, direct the respondent to cancel the patta issued mistakenly in S.No.203/3, Mel Sevoor Village, Gingee Taluk, to an extent of 0.71.5 Ares and to mark the extent of 0.62.0 Ares (1 Acre 53 Cents) in S.No.203/6 in the FMB sketch within the stipulated period.

ORDER

By consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. Originally, the property situated in S.No.203/3, Mel Sevoor Village, Gingee Taluk, belongs to the petitioner's father and from him, the petitioner inherited the same. However, the patta has been changed in favour of Senthamarai Gounder, Anbu and Arul. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 09.10.2015 to the respondent, seeking to cancel the said patta in the names of the above said persons and issue the same in his name.

As the said representation is still pending consideration, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above, a direction is issued to the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 09.10.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as the private parties, in whose names the patta stands.

4. With the above direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
