Prayer: Criminal Original petition filed under Section 482 of Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under guise of enquiry in respect of a Matrimonial dispute in H.M.O.P.No.128 of 2018 on the file of Family Court, Tiruvallur, which is pending in between the petitioner and 3rd respondent. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner and his family members under guise of enquiry in respect of a Matrimonial dispute in H.M.O.P.No.128 of 2018 on the file of Family Court, Tiruvallur, which is pending in between the petitioner and 3rd respondent.

2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration the nature of the dispute involved in this case is a money dispute, it is for the parties to adjudicate the same before the appropriate Civil Court and the respondent police will have no role to play in a case of this nature.

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent police not to interfere with the money dispute and it is open for the parties to agitate their rights before the competent civil court.
