ORDER
Petition seeking bail in connection with Crime No.36 of 2026 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 331(4) and 305 of BNS, is on board for consideration.

The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner trespassed into the house of the de facto complainant, broke open the bureau and stolen jewellery. Hence the case.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is suffering incarceration from 18.03.2026 and the present case has been foisted against the petitioner in order to detain him under Act 14. He also submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent condition that may be imposed by this Court and hence, he prayed for the grant of bail to the petitioner.

Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent reiterated the prosecution case and opposed for the grant of bail. He further submitted that the investigation is still pending and that in respect of the petitioner, several cases are pending.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 6.
Taking note of the facts and circumstances of the case, nature of allegations, submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and considering the antecedents of the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
