Respondent Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 19.06.2015 for issuance of separate patta to an extent of 13 cents comprised in S.No.126/4 in the name of the petitioners. ORDER

By consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. With the grievance that patta has been wrongly given for the property situated in S.No.126/4 at Injambakkam Village, Sozhinganallur Circle, Kancheepuram District, the petitioner made a representation to the respondent. The respondent has also directed the Circle Revenue Inspector to make an inspection and file a report. Though the said order was passed as early as on 21.01.2014, there was no progress made inspite of the subsequent representation by the petitioner on 19.06.2015. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition.

3. Considering the above, a direction is issued to the respondent to pass appropriate orders in pursuant to the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

proceedings dated 21.01.2014 and the representation dated 19.06.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and third parties, if any.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
