A.No.2650 of 2014 A.No.2650 of 2014 in O.P.No.D7623 of 2011 SENTHILKUMAR RAMAMOORTHY, J This application is filed to condone the delay of 30 days in filing the petition to set aside the arbitral award.

2. The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that notice was served on the respondent on 13.01.2018 and that the affidavit of service dated 11.07.2019 was filed. In spite of service of notice, there is no appearance for the respondent.

3. The affidavit in support of the application mentions that there was a delay on account of obtaining necessary approvals from various departments of the petitioner. Upon perusing the said affidavit and considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the applicant, the applicant has made out sufficient cause to condone the delay.
