PRAYER : Writ Petition filed Under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call on the provisional selection list, for the direct recruitment for the post of graduate assistants in Government Higher Secondary Schools 2012-2013 for the subject of Physics on the file of the respondent and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondent ot evaluate and provide marks for the entire 150 questions in the written examination dated 21.07.2013 conducted by the respondent and consequently allot correct marks for the error in question No.88 and consider the petitioner for recruitment of Post Graduate Assistants [Physics] within the stipulated time.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is to call on the provisional selection list, for the direct recruitment for the post of Graduate Assistants in Government Higher Secondary Schools 2012-2013 for the subject of Physics on the file of the respondent and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondent ot evaluate and provide marks for the entire 150 questions in the written examination dated 21.07.2013 conducted

by the respondent and consequently allot correct marks for the error in question No.88 and consider the petitioner for recruitment of Post Graduate Assistants [Physics] within the stipulated time.

2.The petitioner participated in the process of selection for recruitment to the post of Graduate Assistants in the Government Higher Secondary School for the year 2012-2013 for the subject of Physics. The grievances of the writ petitioner was that certain questions were incorrectly asked and therefore the marks are to be awarded for the said questions and accordingly, a revised selection to be conducted. 3.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondent made a submission that the selection was conducted for the year 2012-13 and the process of selection was concluded during the said year and the selected candidates were appointed and working for the past more than eight years.

That apart the reasons stated by the writ petitioner regarding the erroneous questions are incorrect and now after this length of time, the same deserves no merit consideration. 4.This Court is of the considered opinion that the selection was conducted during the year 2012-13 and the petitioner was an unsuccessful candidate and further the grievance of the writ petitioner regarding correction of the answer sheet would not arise on account of efflux of time.

5.Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
