Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2015 in respect of measurement of the petitioner's property to an extent of 8 Cents comprised in Survey No.542/2 situated at Perumal Kovil Street, Sholampedu, Thirumullaivoyal Village, Chennai-600 062 as well as the fourth respondent property by holding enquiry to cancel the Patta issued in favour of the fourth respondent.

ORDER

By consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

Seeking measurement of the property situated in S.No.542/2 at Perumal Kovil Street, Sholampedu, Thirumullaivoyal Village, Chennai-600 062, the petitioner made a representation dated 07.09.2015 to the respondents. As the said representation has not been considered, the present writ petition has been filed.

Taking into consideration the pendency of the representation of the petitioner and without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the second respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 07.09.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as to the fourth respondent.

4. With the above direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
