O R D E R

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking direction to the the respondent to enquire the case and take action against the said Thennarasu for the offence 294(b), 341, 406, 506(II) of IPC & 4 of Tamilnadu Women Harassment Act.

2.The prayer in the present petition is to enquire into the case and take action against the accused, within the powers of the respondent police and this court exercising its powers cannot direct the respondent to take action on the accused. 3.It is seen that the petitioner's complaint has already been registered in FIR No.16 of 2017 dated 15.11.2017 and the same is pending. While that being so, the present prayer does not require consideration for the present.

4.Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
