This petition has been filed by the Accused seeking to quash the proceedings in M.C.No.15 of 2012, on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Alandur.

2. When the matter was taken up on 24.07.2017, there was no representation for the petitioner. Whereas the counsel for the respondent was present and sought time for getting instructions and hence the matter was directed to be posted on 21.08.2017. On 21.08.2017, counsel for both sides were absent and the matter was directed to be posted on 23.08.2017 under the caption "for disposal" and even on that day both the counsels were absent and the matter was directed to be posted on 24.08.2017 under the caption "for dismissal". Thereafter, the matter is listed today under the caption "for dismissal".
3.Even today, when the matter was called, both the counsels were absent. Hence, the Crl.O.P. is dismissed for non-prosecution. Consequently, M.P.Nos. 1 and 2 of 2011 are also dismissed. 29.08.2017 gr.
