Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus by calling for the records of the respondents, particularly the 1st respondent's impugned order, dated 21.02.2024, vide Na.Ka.A3/E-1544415/Colr-74137/2023 and the same was communicated on 25.03.2024 by the 1st respondent and to quash the same and consequentially direct the respondents to provide an employment opportunity to the petitioner by considering educational qualification, handicapped and community basis (MBC). ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed challenging the impugned order, dated 21.02.2024 which was communicated on 25.03.2024 to the petitioner.

2. By the said impugned order, the petitioner's representation was disposed of. In the said representation, the petitioner had prayed to the respondents that she be selected for the post of Village Assistant in Singanikuppam village. The representation has been rejected by giving particulars. The impugned order states that the post was advertised along with the other posts and a detailed selection process was carried on and even though the petitioner participated, she did not come within the zone of consideration for appointment. The said post was also not specifically earmarked for differently abled quota and fell against the general quota only.

3. In that view of the matter, no exception whatsoever can be taken to the respondents rejecting the representation of the petitioner. It is understandable that the petitioner has appropriate educational qualifications 2/4

and that she is a differently abled candidate. Even in such a case, the petitioner has to participate in any one of the recruitments and if only she comes within the zone of consideration, she can be accommodated in posts under the Government. The same cannot be granted to the petitioner on a separate consideration of the petitioner or on a sympathetic consideration.

4. Therefore, finding no merits in the Writ Petition, the same is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. 26.06.2024 : no grs To
