The present Writ Petition has been filed for setting aside the order of termination passed in Na.Ka.No.49261/2008/M1, dated 17.05.2009 and for a direction to reinstate the petitioner into service as Makkal Nala Paniyalar at Thasarahalli Village, Morappur Panchayat Union.

2. When the matter came up for hearing on 22.06.2018, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and the Registry was directed to list the matter on 29.06.2018 under the caption "for dismissal". Today also none appears on behalf of the petitioner.

3. The Writ Petition is therefore dismissed for nonprosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
