Respondent Petition filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 03.11.2015 and pay the OAP Pension from September 2013 onwards with all arrears to the petitioner's account in OAP/14643. ORDER

By consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the old age pension, namely, OAP Pension has been stopped abruptly from September 2013 onwards. Thus, a detailed representation was made by the petitioner on 03.11.2015, to pay the same. As the said representation is still pending consideration, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the above and without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 03.11.2015, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
