consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the Patta issued in favour of the 5th respondent Survey No.836/2 in Sholingar village, Sholingar Taluk, Ranipet district.

2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 05.01.2024, seeking cancellation of patta issued in respect of the subject land in favour of the respondents 5 to 7 herein, conduct enquiry, after issuance of notice to the petitioner, the respondents 5 to 7 herein and

counter parties, if any and after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
