Prayer:- Petition filed under Section 482 of the Criminal Procedure Code, praying to direct the respondents police to register the F.I.R. based on the complaint dated 17.12.2017 lodged by the petitioner.

This petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent police to register the complaint dated 17.12.2017 lodged by the petitioner and investigate the same.

2. I have heard Mr.D.Hari Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.R.Ravichandran, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent Police.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that though the complaint dated 17.12.2017 was given by the petitioner and for the same the respondent Police had also given C.S.R.No.1677 of 2017 on 17.12.2017 itself, on perusal of the complaint, it seems that the respondent Police Station is not the jurisdictional Police Station and it has to be considered and registered and investigated only by the Otteri Police Station and therefore the learned Government Advocate would submit that the said complaint would be forwarded to the concerned Police Station for further action thereon. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this Criminal Original petition is disposed of. The respondent Police shall forward the complaint given by the petitioner to the concerned Police Station immediately and on receipt of the same, the concerned Police Station shall look into the matter and if any cognizable offence prima facie made out on the complaint given by the petitioner, the concerned Police Station shall take appropriate action.

5. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
