J., The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in this case, the petitioner is in prison for more than four years. The petitioner wants to make some arrangements to his family members and prays that atleast this Court consider for grant of interim bail for four weeks.

2.Considering the nature of the allegations in this case, that the petitioner subjected the victim/child, who is mentally retarded child, to aggravated penetrative sexual assault, I am of the view that no indulgence can be shown to the petitioner.

Therefore, the prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner is rejected and the Criminal Miscellaneous Petition for suspension of sentence is dismissed.

3.Registry is directed to post the appeal on 12.08.2022.
