This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file a charge sheet in Crime No.270 of 2016 pending on the file of the respondent police within a time frame.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner; learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent and perused the materials placed on record.

3. It is seen that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, FIR has been registered in Crime No.270 of 2016 for offences under Section 341, 294[b] and 323 IPC.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was initially treated in the Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital, Chennai and was discharged on 27.03.2016. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. The discharge summary shows that the petitioner has not suffered any bone injuries. However, the petitioner appears to have taken treatment in Sundaram Medical Foundation from 27.03.2016 to 30.03.2016.

6. Under such circumstances, the respondent Police may take all these factors into consideration during investigation and after completing the investigation, file a Final Report or a Closure Report as the case may be, expeditiously, under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
