Respondent Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the respondent herein in his proceedings Rc.No.F1/7730/2020 D.O.No.398/2020 dated 20.10.2020 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to reinstate the petitioner into service within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader has produced an order dated 29.08.2022 in which the suspension of the petitioner has been revoked. The said suspension was under challenge before this Court in the present Writ Petition. Since suspension of the petitioner has been revoked by the Superintendent of Police, Railways, Chennai, through an order dated 29.08.2022, the relief sought for in this Writ Petition has become infructuous.

2. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
