Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the order passed by the Deputy Inspector General of Prisons-Cum-The Superintendent (In-charge), Central Prisons, Coimbatore the 4th respondent herein vide his proceedings No.15200/Po.1/06 dated 02.04.2008 and quash the same as illegal arbitrary, unreasonable being violative of rules and principles of natural Justice and thereby direct the 4th respondent herein to confirm the scale of pay fixed by the Superintendent, Central Prison, Coimbatore vide his order dated 31.01.2006.

This Writ Petition has been filed, calling for the records pertaining to the order passed by the Deputy Inspector General of Prisons-Cum-The Superintendent (In-charge), Central Prisons, Coimbatore, the 4th respondent herein vide his proceedings No.15200/Po.1/06 dated 02.04.2008 and to quash the same as illegal arbitrary, unreasonable being violative of rules and principles of natural Justice and thereby, to direct the 4th respondent herein to confirm the scale of pay fixed by the Superintendent, Central Prison, Coimbatore vide his order dated 31.01.2006.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the Writ Petition has become infructuous and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
3. Recording the above submission and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
