O R D E R

This petition has been filed to quash the Notice dated 10.01.2014 made in M.C. No.9 of 2013 (c) under Section 145 Cr.P.C., by the Sub Divisional Executive Magistrate, Namakkal District.

The petitioner filed this petition to challenge the notice issued against him under Section 145 of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Cr.P.C. The said notice was issued in the month of January, 2014. The period for the proceedings under Section 145 of Cr.P.C. is only for one year. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructuous.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
