There is a delay of 98 days in filing the writ appeal. Detailed reasons have been given for condonation of the delay. However, the application has been opposed by learned counsel for the respondents.

We find that the intervening period of delay has otherwise been condoned by an order of the Apex Court, made applicable to the case on hand.

The application is allowed and the delay in filing the appeal is condoned.
