..Respondent(s) Prayer: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents herein to forthwith take appropriate action on The Online Applications No.2026/0123/ 09/000644, Can No.133090635351143, 2026/0105/09/008842, dated

11.03.2026 and petition dated 18.03.2026 and consequently direct the respondents to survey, measure, enmark and fix the boundaries of SF No.445/3A, 445/3B (New No.445/3B1 and 445/3B2) 445/6A, 445/6B, 445/7 in R Puliamputty Village in Namakkal Taluk and District, as per the title deeds and parent deeds cause sub-divisions, in the presence of the petitioners, and in strict adherence to the mandatory provisions of the Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act and the Standing Orders of the Board of Revenue, and the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, Rules and Statuary Circulars and Guidelines of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, Rules and statuary circulars and guidelines of the Tamil Nadu Revenue Department and Survey Department, with the protection of the 6th respondent, and thereafter cause mutation and pass an appropriate orders of separate patta to the petitioners and publish the same in the District Revenue Gazette, and to give the petitioner a copy of the same. ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioners' online application dated 11.03.2026.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners have made an online application dated 11.03.2026 to conduct survey, fix boundary stones, sub-divisions and change of patta for their properties comprised in SF.No.445/3A, 445/3B (New No.445/3B1 and 445/3B2) 445/6A,

445/6B, 445/7 in R.Puliamputty Village in Namakkal Taluk and District. However, the same was not considered, as on date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Ms.Inthu Karunakaran, learned Government's Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submitted that the petitioners' application dated 11.03.2026 will be considered within a period of eight weeks.

4. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the limited relief sought by the learned counsel for the petitioners, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the respondents 3 & 4 to consider the petitioners' online application dated 11.03.2026 and carry out a survey and complete the process, after giving prior notice to the petitioners and other aggrieved parties, if any, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. It is made clear that this order is passed only for the purpose of issuing a direction to the official respondent to conduct a survey and lay boundary stones at the subject land. In the event any dispute arises regarding the possession of the subject property, the same has to be decided by way of filing a suit before the competent Civil Court.

7. With the above direction, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 02-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order VM To:
