This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the second respondent to conduct preliminary enquiry into the matter referred in the complaint dated 19.05.2023 given by the writ petitioner herein. 2.

Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents states that the said complaint is not addressed to second respondent, but, it was sent to the Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore instead of Director Vigilance and Anti Corruption / D.S.P., Vigilance and Anti Corruption Wing, Cuddalore. Therefore, they were not able to act upon the complaint. However, internal communication has been sent to the Superintendent of Police, Cuddalore to forward the complaint, so as to look into the matter, whether, it requires any investigation and if, there is any material available, appropriate action will be taken on the complaint. 3.

Recording the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
