According to the petitioner, while he was working as Deputy Commercial Tax Officer, he was placed under suspension on 16.07.2013.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that he submitted a representation dated 07.01.2015 to review the order of suspension, however the respondent has not passed any order so far. Hence, the present writ petition by the petitioner. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.V.Vijayashankar, appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Kanmani Annamalai, Additional Government Pleader (Taxes) who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. 4.Though the petitioner has prayed for a larger relief, this court, in the light of the above facts and circumstances directs the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 07.01.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
